When you order $350 of smallwares, you qualify for free shipping. If you order less than $350, there is a $20 flat rate to ship them to any province in Canada.
This free shipping policy does not apply to equipment. There are shipping charges for equipment, unless specifically noted on the equipment's product page. And equipment does not count towards the $350 to qualify for free shipping.

Freight deliveries are different than parcel deliveries. Freight is for larger items that need to be shipped on a pallet on a freight truck.

PID stands for proportional-integral-derivative controls. In short, PID controls automatically adjust the temperature of water to keep it at the right temperature. The Ascaso DUO PID has a 100% metal body, which means its bodywork is enough to satisfy the requirements of commercial use. But due to the smaller capacity, it's optimized for use in the home, office, or even the hospitality sector. The water tank is fully removeable and it comes with a Canadian standard-compliant plug.
